About LidoOS

From hospitality.
For your business.

LidoOS connects your restaurant website, reservations, menu and point of sale. For restaurateurs who want to organise their business digitally and focus on service.

LidoOS is in beta. We develop and test workflows step by step; the point-of-sale system has not yet been released for the market.

The team behind LidoOS

Marco and Maik have worked together since 2002. From 2002 to 2004, they jointly ran the web agency Pixel Nova. At LidoOS, they now combine hospitality and software development with design and brand work.

Our pilot restaurant

Ristorante Lido Azzurro

Daily restaurant work in Haltern am See provides the questions that shape LidoOS: How does an order reach the kitchen? What does the service team need? How can the daily closing remain traceable?

Lido Azzurro is intended to be the first restaurant to go live. The transition is being prepared; daily live operation has not started.

What matters to us in development

Traceable POS workflows

Fiscalisation, receipts and daily closing are part of POS development. Approval for the intended use comes before going live.

Separate business data

The platform supports multiple tenants: each business has its own data scope and access rights.

Eight languages

LidoOS supports German, English, Italian, Spanish, French, Dutch, Polish and Flemish.

Open integrations

DATEV is the foundation of our accounting integration; other accounting tools remain optional. We are expanding connections to payment providers and partners step by step.

Our path: one step at a time

The sequence is clear. We will announce specific release dates when they are reliable.

  1. Now: beta and testing

Prepare workflows at the pilot restaurant, gather feedback and test how the modules work together.

  2. Next: POS market release

Approve POS operation for use, including fiscalisation, hardware and service workflows.

  3. Then: partner integrations

Coordinate and expand accounting and payment integrations with the respective partners.

  4. After that: measured growth

Support more businesses and develop setup, support and the product together.

LidoOS is operated as Marco Heller’s sole proprietorship; conversion to a German limited liability company (GmbH) is planned as the business grows.
