Working with the module

Five tasks, one module.

Guests book online

Your evening gets its own stage.

On the event page, guests see what to expect, when it starts and which tickets are available. They choose their ticket type and quantity directly there. For paid bookings, a supported payment connection must be set up.

Create an event

Turn an idea into a concrete date.

Enter title, description, location and times. Add an image and describe what’s included in the evening. You can prepare the event as a draft; with the status “Published”, it becomes visible on your event page.

LidoOS Copilot

No AI feature in this module

This module works without AI.

You manage events, ticket types, bookings and admissions here via fixed functions. The event module currently has no copilot connected.

You will find a Copilot in the Vouchers and Reservations modules.

Define ticket types

You decide which seats to offer.

Set up ticket types with individual prices and quotas. For each ticket type, you can limit the sales period and the maximum number per booking. The total number of participants for the event also forms the shared capacity limit.

Welcome guests

At the entrance, a valid ticket counts.

Select the event in the admission scanner. You can scan a QR code, enter the ticket code or search for guests. The module distinguishes between valid, already used and cancelled tickets. An accidental check-in can be undone.

Overview bookings

You know who has booked for your evening.

The booking overview shows guests, number of tickets, payment and booking status. Open a process for details or export the list. Confirmations and reminders use the module’s email templates; you can trigger a reminder specifically.

Events and till

Tickets are sold online and right at the till.

Once ticket sales are enabled for your till, your ticket types appear as articles in LidoOS POS. Booking, quota and admission stay in Nova, and the till checks with Nova before every sale.

  • Counter sale: the guest pays in cash or by card, the till creates the booking in Nova and prints the ticket with QR code on the receipt. On request the confirmation goes out by email.
  • Quota counts: before charging, the till checks the remaining quota with Nova. If the event is sold out, nothing is charged.
  • Admission: a ticket sold at the till is recognised in the admission scanner exactly like an online ticket, including undoing an accidental check-in.
  • A cancellation at the till frees the seat in Nova again. Without a connection to Nova the till sells no tickets, so no seat is given away twice.

Consumption at the event

With TuttoPay, consumption and payment per guest too.

Events and Tickets handle booking, quota and admission. If your event runs with TuttoPay, every guest gets a personal QR code, your team books food and drinks against it, and it is settled at the end — topped up beforehand or paid later. TuttoPay is included in Enterprise and currently has no connection to LidoOS POS.

What you need to get started

For limited-capacity tastings, themed evenings, concerts and special events.

Prepare event details, capacity and ticket terms. Paid tickets need payments and email delivery. Admission checks require a suitable device and connection.

The limits

You decide what your evening promises.

You manage content, requirements and capacities yourself. The module does not check whether your event offer is complete or whether special guest requests can be met. The ticket status does not replace coordination with your team.

Packages

Events and tickets are included from Starter.

The module is part of Starter, Professional and Enterprise. Find current terms and the respective package scope in the shop.

Short answers

Good to know

Is this the same as TuttoPay?

Nova Events manages bookings, tickets and admission. TuttoPay handles QR credit and consumption at events. If you need both, we plan their workflows and activation together.

Do I need a payment connection to sell tickets?

For paid tickets, yes: bookings run through the configured payment provider. Free events can be offered without a payment connection.

What happens when more guests want to book than there are seats?

Each ticket type has a quota, and the total number of participants forms the shared limit. Once it is reached, no further bookings are possible.

How does admission work on the evening?

In the admission scanner you select the event, scan the QR code or enter the ticket code. Already used and cancelled tickets are recognised, and an accidental check-in can be undone.
