Guests select date, time and number of people in the booking widget. The available times are based on your booking rules and the determined availability. You embed the widget in your website or share the direct link.

This is what the Copilot does here
Drafts confirmations, reminders and cancellations.
Uses guest name, date and number of people; for confirmations also stored special wishes.
Includes the chosen reason for cancellations.
This is what it doesn’t check
Whether a table or a suggested alternative slot is actually free.
Whether special wishes can be fulfilled or allergies and intolerances are considered.
Whether the chosen cancellation reason is accurate.

The right occasion is already covered.
Choose confirmation, reminder or cancellation. If you cancel, you also provide a reason. You don’t need an idea library; the message types are directly selectable in the reservation.
The text remains a suggestion to edit and copy. Text generation doesn’t send any messages or change reservation status.

In combination with the till
NovaPOS
Reservations reach the till. And the status comes back.
Nova provides rooms, tables and seating to LidoOS POS. Once the reservation bridge is enabled for your business, bookings travel to the till and status changes travel back to Nova.
Nova → POS: every reservation from Nova appears as a connected reservation at the till, with guest name, party size, time and notes. Changes and cancellations follow.
During service: the till shows guest name, notes and party size for the reservation right at the table.
POS → Nova: arrival, seating, cancellation, no-show and completion set by the team at the till update the Nova reservation. If the transfer fails, LidoOS catches it up automatically.
Limit: walk-ins created only at the till do not appear in Nova. The bridge has to be set up for your business.
Guests choose date, time and party size in the booking widget. Embed it on your website or link to the reservation page.

What you need to get started
For restaurants managing service periods, seating areas, phone bookings and walk-ins.
Maintain opening hours, capacity and rules. Messages require delivery setup; deposits require an active payment provider. CRM and printing require their corresponding activation and connections.
The limits
Good planning needs well-maintained details.
Opening hours, booking rules and table capacities must match your operation. Special wishes are notes, not guarantees. Online reservations and automatically generated texts don’t replace team coordination.

Does this suit your restaurant?
Briefly describe how you currently take reservations and plan your service.
Yes. Link to the booking page or embed the widget. A Nova-built website is not required; integration and mobile display should be checked for your site.
What happens when two guests want the same table at the same time?
The offered times come from your booking rules and the determined availability. Once a slot is taken, the widget no longer offers it.
Can I manage phone reservations together with online bookings?
Yes. You enter calls in the same form and see them in the same overview as online reservations, with status, area and wishes.
Are the guests and reservations shown real?
No. All views come from the demo restaurant Via Palermo with fictitious people and transactions. They show the interface, not occupancy.
Via Palermo is a demo restaurant. Names, email addresses and shown business processes are fictional.
