Enter the cash received. The till calculates change from the bill and recorded tip. You can see how much to return from the cash drawer. Automatic drawer opening has not been established here.

Card terminal at the table or till.
Send the amount to a configured card terminal at the table or till. Only a confirmed payment counts as paid. The planned demo uses a simulated provider; it does not establish support for a particular terminal model.

Record tips separately.
Record a tip with a cash or card terminal payment. Reports show tips separately from sales. The tip is selected in the till’s payment flow; a separate tip prompt on every terminal is not assumed.

Check and redeem a voucher.
Check the voucher code with Nova and redeem the appropriate amount. Unused credit remains on value vouchers; package vouchers have their own redemption rules. An up-to-date balance requires both the lookup and the return path to Nova to be configured and reachable.

Split by items or people.
Select one person’s items or divide the bill equally between several people. Each share can be paid separately. Unpaid shares remain open until their payments are confirmed too.

Void with a reason and reversal receipt.
Enter a reason for the void; the till checks your permission. Voiding a settled bill creates a fiscal reversal while preserving the original. If the payment provider needs to issue a refund, that refund must be confirmed separately.

Without Nova: local till workflows using previously transferred data. New online orders and voucher validation or issuance need Nova.
The card terminal and payment methods must be configured. Vouchers require Nova and a configured return path. Transactions need a reachable POS server; the Box needs a working LAN. Payments and fiscal finalisation without internet are disabled by default.

No. The till calculates the change from the bill and the recorded tip; handing it back from the drawer is done by hand. An automatic opener is not set up.
Does voucher credit remain after paying with a voucher?
Yes, for value vouchers — provided the check and the report back to Nova are set up and reachable. Package vouchers have their own redemption rules.
Can the guest choose the tip themselves at the terminal?
No. Tips are recorded in the till workflow and passed on with the payment amount. A separate selection on the card reader is not proven.
